Open Source strategy and roadmap definition

The goal of this consulting engagement is the definition of the Open Source products and services adoption strategy best suited for the company and the activities to be carried out in order to implement the strategy.

Server migration

The goal of this service is to migrate one or several servers to OS. The current servers can be either Windows (NT/2000/2003) or proprietary Unix (Solaris, AIX, HP/UX).

Application migration

The goal of this service is to assess the suitability, feasibility and profitability of an application migration. The migration is included in our system integration offer.

Desktop migration

The goal of this service is to migrate a number of desktop workstations to OS, including the office productivity tools. After selecting a representative sample among the users from the different departments, the analysis of their usage of the tools will allow to assess the feasibility of the migration to OpenOffice.

Development

The goal of this service is the definition or assessment of the development process, including all the involved elements: methods, standards, version control, etc.

Business process

This consulting engagement analyses and defines the business processes of a department, gathers a list of requirements as a starting point to perform a functional analysis.
